The Nienoord route (+/- 1.5 hours):
Step aboard a whisper boat, canoe, motorboat or SUP and sail via Leekster Hoofddiep towards Nienoord Estate. This approximately 1.5-hour route takes you past the beautiful countryside around Nienoord.
Continue your trip to Leek's little harbour, where you can enjoy the atmospheric little harbour and surrounding area for a while. Then return over the same water and enjoy the view and nature again.

Round Leekstermeer
Lake Leekstermeer is big enough for a wonderful boating trip. Cruise along the extensive reed beds, enjoy the peace and quiet on the water and make a stop at the lookout tower. From here you have a wonderful view of the lake! Not out yet? Then cross over and treat yourself to a nice drink on the other side - the perfect end to your trip!
Rodervaart (+/- 1,5 hours)
The Rodervaart is an atmospheric canal that starts at the Stort, a place that owes its name to the former landfill site that once lay here. Cruising further, you come to the pumping station, where a picnic table with a beautiful view invites you to take a short break. The canal ends just before the cosy village of Roden, after which you sail back the same route.

Boating route Hoendiep
Fluisterboot & Kano: 3 hours, Motorboot: 2.5 hours:
Board a whisper boat, canoe or motorboat and sail towards Enumatil via the Lettelberterdiep. If you opt for a whisper boat or canoe, the route takes about 3 hours without a break. With a motorboat, you'll be back in about 2.5 hours, as you're travelling faster.

You cruise past the windmill Eben Haëzer, a national monument from 1862, and through a beautiful green landscape. You then continue along the Hoendiep towards de Poffert and Oostwold.
On the other side of the lake is Paviljoen Pool, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or drinks overlooking the water. If you like, you can also stop at Tante Til, where you can moor for a nice piece of cake and a cup of coffee - the perfect break spot!
After your stop, or without a break, sail across the lake back to Cnossen Leekstermeer. End the trip on our lakeside terrace and enjoy the view.
